The gas mileage is at the respectable level. When you select the front-wheel drive, the vehicle returns 19/26 mpg. It drops a bit if you want from eight-speed automatic transmission to distribute power to all four corners. That is not all, since the 2022 Palisade Calligraphy brings the high-end options to make it nearly as much luxurious as the Genesis GV80. The highlights are quilted door panels, suede headliner, large wheels, and perforated leather wrapping for the steering wheel. All-wheel drive is standard.

The base MSRP of the new SUV is pretty attractive, having in mind this is a fresh vehicle, and that comes with pretty nice equipment. The 2022 Hyundai Palisade costs $32,500. The SEL is just north of $35k, while the Limited is a $10,000 upgrade. At this price, you can buy some of the premium mid-size SUVs, such as Lexus RX or Acura MDX. Even with the Calligraphy, the price is not exceeding $50,000.
