But, the new vehicles won’t be the same as 20 or 30 years ago. So, let’s see what do we got here.

One of the most interesting models on the list, mainly because it comes from Ferrari. For a long time, we were expecting a move by the Italian powerhouse. However, the production might come a bit later, in a limited number of units, and with a hefty price. The 2022 Ferrari Purosangue SUV will cost around $350,000 and it has a couple of options for the engine room. We assume the company will go after a V8 or a V12, which will reach 650 hp.
Lincoln / Rivian EV SUV
One of the best SUV concepts we saw recently is the Rivian R1S. The new US company is a threat to Tesla. The electric startup draws the attention of many companies, which already invested heavily in further development. We have Amazon as the biggest shareholder. Recently, Ford joined the party as well. The Blue Oval company could use an electric drivetrain to install it under a premium Lincoln SUV. Aviator has the PHEV system delivering a lot of power and the next step in the evolution is EV. Now, this could be the only thing that will remind us of the old vehicle. The 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was about to arrive in 2021, but the production is delayed for the following season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SUV will take the position above the Grand Cherokee as the full-size model. The US carmaker is finally entering the new market and the old nameplate should help FCA position better right from the start. 2022 Lotus SUV
A single render was enough to spark the rumors about the 2022 Lotus SUV. Most things about this concept are speculative. But, not everything. The British carmaker is not denying the idea exists. Also, there are spy photos confirming the development is ongoing and test mules are proving Lotus SUV might appear in 2022. The styling is very attractive. Lotus SUV will use a coupe design. A sloping roof will reduce the cargo space. Still, it is going to be way more than any other vehicle by this carmaker. This model will have performance editions, with diesel and hybrid options for some markets.

The 2023 Aston Martin DBX Coupe is one of the latest best SUV concepts we could hear of. However, there are no too many details on this vehicle. But, we all know what this company is making. Another Bond’s car is very likely. It won’t debut in ‘No time to die’, but the next episode might bring the premiere of the DBX Coupe. Although it takes a more aggressive look, the SUV will have space for three rows and seven seats. However, this concept was not on the initial list of seven new vehicles by Aston Martin for the next few years.

GM’s archrival is already out with the Mach E electric model. But, the biggest premiere in the newest history is Bronco. Ford will use the popularity of the SUV to bring another, Bronco Sport or Baby Bronco version. We saw the shell recently, and it seems like a Wrangler 2-door rival. Still, the premiere of the new arrival will follow the launch of the base model, which hit another delay. Bronco caused a lot of attention when Ford announced its comeback in 2016. 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV
Bolt is the only electric vehicle in the family. However, it is not enough for GM. They need something else than the hatchback to be competitive in the market. They don’t even offer a powerful hybrid. General Motors will start from scratch – the subcompact crossover segment, by turning its only EV into the electric utility vehicle – EUV. The premiere of the new Bolt SUV is scheduled for the next season, and the sales will start in the second half of 2021. The future crossover will have a battery good for 260 miles of range.
