The level of luxury in some SUVs is extreme. But, to be honest, for many premium brands, you will pay only the name. Companies such as Rolls Royce or Bentley are limiting their offer to reach enough buyers for their products. Well, these two companies are among these which offer the most expensive SUVs.

Of course, we will wait for the response by Ferrari, which is also about to build SUV. Lamborghini is already out with its model, but there are also other premium versions of other nameplates we see regularly on the streets. Let’s see which are the most expensive SUVs we will find in 2021.

2021 Lincoln Navigator Black Label ($100,000)

The luxury package for every Lincoln vehicle is Black Label. It brings unique upgrades, especially inside the cabin. Special themes will be updated for the upcoming season and the largest SUV, 2021 Lincoln Navigator is getting a new look. That will increase the price a bit. Having in mind the vehicle is very close to $100k mark, the new edition will enter the six-digit realm. With a few other options, the price is moving from the edge.

Still, the base model is also pretty expensive, starting at $80,000. However, other versions won’t cost so high such as the Black Label. The main rival to the 2021 Lincoln Navigator is Cadillac Escalade, whose price gets very close to $100k with all the available upgrades for the Platinum model.

2021 BMW X7 M ($125,000)

The 2021 BMW X7 M is an upgrade to the X6 coupe SUV. Until the X8 arrives with the same package, the X7 remains the most expensive model in the family. Another possible luxury SUV by the German carmaker is Alpina XB7, which will cost close to $150,000. However, both these models are not coming before 2022. The 2021 BMW X7 M will have the price tag of $125,000 for nearly 550 hp coming out of the 4.4 twin-turbo V8 engine.

The X7 is the new biggest vehicle in the squad with three rows of seats and a lot of premium equipment. Its price gets close to the main Rival, Mercedes GLS with AMG 63 package. Still, the new X7 might get a hybrid version, but it won’t be as expensive as the M package.

2021 Mercedes AMG GLS 63 ($130,000)

The most luxurious German carmaker is still untouchable when we speak of equipment, performance, and price in the SUV category. The GLS is the largest Mercedes-Benz SUV, and its premium edition, AMG has two levels of tuning. Top of the class version is the 2021 Mercedes AMG GLS 63 with the price tag of $130,000.

For this amount of money, you will get one of the most powerful units in the market – a 5.5-l handcrafter engine with 577 horsepower. Special AMG transmission sends power to all wheels, popular 4Matic system. The SUV will need 4 seconds to hit 60 mph from a stop.

That is not all since the 2021 Mercedes AMG GLS 63 is offering plenty of unique equipment inside the vehicle. A 12-inch display sits at the dashboard and the new MBUX infotainment is a step ahead of the entire competition. Heated and ventilated seats are wrapped in genuine leather. The GLS AMG is a seven-seater SUV.

2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid ($165,000)

Porsche was the company that produced an exotic vehicle. So, it was a surprise when the carmaker entered the SUV class. We can say its Cayenne turned the things around and started an evolution with the coupe style. As it was expected, the manufacturer delivers very expensive products, and at the top of the line sits the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid with the price tag of $165,000. You can find a cheaper version in six-digit water, Cayenne Turbo with 540 hp and 570 lb-ft of torque.

But, the 2021 Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid beats everything with its electric system. This vehicle is ranked at #3 in our most powerful SUVs list. Only two models with higher outputs are electric Tesla Model X and Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Hellcat engine. The E-Hybrid system enhances the petrol unit to get 670 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. Cayenne needs 3.6 seconds for a 0-60 mph sprint, which is better than the more expensive Lamborghini Urus can do.

2021 Bentley Bentayga ($165,000; Bentayga Speed $240,000)

The base 2021 Bentley Bentayga will cost only $165,000. We say ‘only’ because there are few more carmakers that Bentley easily beats in the pricing competition. Still, the standard offer includes a 6.0-liter engine that produces 600 horsepower. This version sits at $165,000.

If you opt to build this SUV, the price will go up pretty fast. First of all, you will get a twin-turbo W12 engine with 625 hp. All-wheel drive is standard and gets power through an eight-speed auto gearbox. A sprint time of the 2021 Bentley Bentayga Speed is 3.8 seconds and the price tag $240,000.

One feature can change things up radically and make the Bentayga the most expensive SUV ever. The Breitling Mulliner Tourbillon Clock is a unique upgrade that costs nearly as much as the entire SUV. If you like it, prepare $160k only for this state-of-art accessory.

2021 Maserati Levante Trofeo ($170,000)

The 2021 Maserati Levante Trofeo is the new edition by the Italian powerhouse. This edition upgrades the GTS by $50,000. For this amount of money, you will get a special tuning of a 3.8-liter engine, which will be capable to explode for 590 hp and 540 lb-ft of torque. The twin-turbo V8 setup is also one of the fastest in the market, with less than 4 seconds needed for 0-60 mph.

Trofeo is not adding only 40 hp compared to the GTS edition. For $170,000, you will also get the more aggressive appearance and designers didn’t save carbon fiber for front splitter. Plus, there are unique upgrades, such as new bonnet scoops and larger air intakes. Inside, the cabin is familiar. Well, the 2021 Maserati Levante Trofeo is going to use more premium materials to prove the price.

2021 Aston Martin DBX ($193,000)

We are going back to the British premium companies to find another example of luxury. It is not Bond’s car, but in the future we could see the Agent 007 driving the DBX SUV. The company is exploiting the familiar unit – a 4.0-liter V8, also used in Mercedes vehicles. For the 2021 Aston Martin DBX, it cracks 542 hp. Still, this is not enough to drop the 0-60 mph time under 4 seconds and it is a big downside for the British manufacturer.

So, what makes 2021 Aston Martin DBX so special? The platform is without a mistake. Every model is being tested, so the buyers won’t have concerns with the product. Plus, there are some advanced systems for roll-over and other critical situations. Now, everything is electronically controlled, so it provides peace of mind. Let’s also check out boxes of extreme comfort, premium materials, and the most advanced infotainment features in the DBX.

2021 Mercedes-AMG G63 ($200,000)

Another Mercedes model is in our list of the most expensive SUVs. This time, it is a famous G-Class. Again, in cooperation with the AMG, the German manufacturer crafts the perfect combo which will raise the bar above $200k. The boxy look is definitely something that won’t make you think this is one of the SUVs with the heftiest price in the market. But, premium equipment and special engines are well hidden inside the box on the wheels.

A 4.0-liter bi-turbo unit is creating as much power as the 5.5 handcrafted mill for the GLS. 577 hp and 625 lb-ft are enough for superb performance on and off the road. The SUV can sprint up to 135 mph and the company offers a special package with a limit increased by 15 mph. The exterior upgrades can make the G63 even more muscular, with 22-inch wheels or radiator grille the most notable options.

2021 Range Rover SVAutobiography ($210,000)

While most other British carmakers are out with a single SUV and special editions, the Range Rover rules the island and world with its premium offer. This is the larges SUV in the lineup and even the base price is hefty. So, even with slight upgrades, the Land Rover Range Rover becomes a $100k SUV.

But, let’s move fast forward to the top of their list of engines and trims, where we find the SVAutobiography edition. A 5.0-liter supercharged V8 is ready to burst 560 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle is not expensive only because of the huge and powerful engine. Its interior is packed with all the items you can find on other vehicles in the lineup. The only optional upgrade is the rear-seat infotainment system. For less money, you can purchase a regular Autobiography model with a hybrid setup attached to a petrol engine.

2021 Lamborghini Urus ($211,000)

This was the most-awaited model in the premium segment. Lambo set standards when their Urus came out. Now, the top trim of Porsche Cayenne, Turbo GT, is going to use the same configuration as the 2021 Lamborghini Urus. A 4.0-liter twin-turbo is good for 640 hp and a 3.6-second 0-60 mph sprint. Only Bentley Bentayga Speed from this list can beat it, but with the special packages available for more money.

The interior is loaded and the eye-catching details will draw the attention of the most demanding buyers. The combination of Italian craftsmanship and new technologies is worth every dollar invested in the 2021 Lamborghini Urus. The company brought everything from the exotic sports car segment to the SUV class, although we thought it would never work. There is only one SUV more expensive than Urus, but the main competitor is yet to arrive. We are waiting for Ferrari’s response.

2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan ($325,000)

The battle of luxury ends in a showdown of two British carmakers. Of course, Bentley and Rolls-Royce decide which is the most expensive. Without a Turbillion watch, the 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan takes the crown. The SUV is the only one that sits above $300,000, and $100k more than the first competitor. With 563 hp and 592 hp editions, the Rolls-Royce delivers enough power. The second output, produced by the help of the Black Badge edition, will increase the price to nearly $400,000, which is again more than Bentayga, even with the most luxurious single upgrade ever.

Well, what to say about the styling of the $325,000-priced vehicle? It is perfect, it is art, full of luxurious and unique details, more than comfortable, convenient, safe… However, the price is definitely out of mind. But, it serves as the prestigious item, rather than the commuting vehicle.
