Tough Year for 2021 Kia Sportage
Another Korean carmaker is elbowing its way into the crossover market. However, Kia is more focused on other nameplates and the 2021 Sportage is not at the top of priorities.
In 2019, this model had a peak in sales, with nearly 90k units sold in the US. But, the carmaker is not thinking of refreshing it for 2021. Instead, buyers will see the new Seltos, as well as a larger Sorento. With most of the 2021 compact crossover segment being updated, we don’t think Sportage can keep its upside curve on sales charts. But, the next generation is due for 2022.
So, its fans will wait for a year or so for the all-new crossover.
