Electric crossovers and SUVs are taking over the market from the traditional configurations using engines with internal combustion. The process is still taking a swing and soon we can expect a big update. It is not hard to see that the biggest companies are turning to electric vehicles. That leads to numerous discontinuations. After the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus, the new model is going to replace the mid-size. And, it is an EV.

Engine and Specifications
Under the bonnet of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus will be a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. For the premium SUV, 250 horsepower is not a spectacular output. But, the company is using it as the entry-level option with a lower price tag. The engine also converts 280 lb-ft of torque to the front or all wheels. The gas mileage of this configuration is 21/26 mpg.
A V6 engine is more suitable for the mid-size SUV. For the Nautilus, that is a 2.7-liter turbo-six, capable of producing 355 hp and 380 lb-ft. The upper-level configuration is available only with an all-wheel drive. Like for the turbocharged four-cylinder plant, an 8-speed auto transmission is paired with the V6 unit. Of course, a larger displacement is consuming more gasoline. But, the difference between the two options available for the Nautilus is not significant. On the other hand, 100 hp gain is an upgrade worth of consideration.
All-Electric Lincoln SUV
We know that Ford is electrifying numerous vehicles. By 2030, the entire fleet of EVs is going to be available. After that, all engines with internal combustion will be discontinued. And before that happens, we’ll see the last run of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. Instead of the mid-size SUV, Lincoln plans to bring an electric vehicle. According to Gear Patrol, the company speeds up the development of EVs, and by 2026, five units are going to be available at dealerships.
We have to analyze what is going on. First, Ford’s archrival, GM, pronounced its electric future. The first vehicles are out, including Cadillac Lyriq. The battle is on in the premium segment as well, and the Blue Oval company is not going to leave the market to the competition. Building an electric Lincoln SUV is a logical move that everyone expected.
This perfectly fits the plans of the US carmaker. Sooner or later, the luxury class would enter the electrification process. It looks like General Motors only made Ford do it faster. But, it is still questionable what kind of a platform the successor of the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is going to use. The company is not taking Rivian architecture. Anyway, the EV should be out either in 2025 or 2026.
2024 Lincoln Nautilus Models, Black Label, Colors
There will be three trim levels available for the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus. The company is not going to spend too much time creating some new packages. Minor reshuffling of options is possible. Highlights of the entry-level are the turbo-four engine, 18-inch wheels, power liftgate, parking sensors, simulated leather interior, power-adjustable buckets, huge 13-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 10-speaker audio. The Premium package is an optional upgrade.
The mid-range offer for the 2024 Nautilus will be the Reserve trim. Notable additions are ventilation for front seats, leather upholstery, heated and power-adjustable steering wheel, hands-free liftgate, panoramic sunroof, navigation, and ambient lighting. A lot of safety options are available with several additional upgrades.
Still, the top of the range version remains the 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label. A V6 delivers extra power and AWD is standard. To make a ride sportier, engineers installed adaptive suspension dampers. The exterior highlight is a set of 21-inch wheels. Premium leather with simulated suede headliner and luxury carpeted floor mats enhances an overall impression. The final touch is the 19-speaker Revel Ultima audio.
The Black Label comes with the following paintjobs: Infinite Black, Silver Radiance, Burgundy Velvet, Flight Blue and Pristine White. The only premium option is Chroma Caviar. Chalet and Flight themes, specific for this package, are available. Standard and Reserve packages offer those colors: Bronze Smoke, Gilded Green, Ceramic Pearl and Asher Gray, in addition to the abovementioned shades.
2024 Lincoln Nautilus Pricing
With the dawn of the lineup, Lincoln shouldn’t change the prices of the upcoming Nautilus. The MSRP of the Standard model starts at $44,000 and the Reserve has a $50,000 price tag on it. The Black Label is an ultimate upgrade and costs $67,000. It doesn’t take too much upgrading to bring the premium SUV over $70k. On the other hand, it is hard to find too many upgrades, since the Black Label is packed with the top of the range options.
