The all-new 2024 Cadillac XT5 is coming out soon. General Motors is in the electrification process, but the company didn’t forget about the flagship models. A nine-speed transmission works smoothly.
Another option is a reliable V6. A 3.6-liter displacement is good for 310 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. The gas mileage is cut a bit, but nothing special. A V6 can do 19/26 mpg, or 18/26 mpg with an AWD. The same transmission is a power router. A V6 makes the XT5 more capable of towing. Still, the crossover SUV is not a leader with 3,500 pounds of hauling potential.
2024 Cadillac XT5 EV
Sooner or later, the entire fleet will get an electric drivetrain. Some models are already out, such as Hummer truck and SUV, or Chevy Bolt EUV. General Motors also has many future concepts, and the Cadillac Lyriq is one of the first we can see out. Also, this SUV might serve as the base for the XT5 electric. Still, it is early to talk about the final version and when it will be available. We can’t exclude a debut in 2024, especially if the vehicle starts the new generation.
Redesign and Interior Changes
The second-gen vehicle will deliver huge changes on the body as well. the new look is hard to predict, but the 2024 Cadillac XT5 can be inspired by Lyriq or Celestiq electric vehicles. The company is also thinking about the new XT6 and Escalade. Interesting, the full-size SUV got the V-Series package with a high-performance engine.
