This version of the 2023 Genesis GV60 can go 280 miles without recharging. Of course, after some time, the battery capacity will start dropping. If you pick an all-wheel drive, the range is 30 miles shorter. On the other hand, the power jumps to 315 hp and torque is at 480 pound-feet. The 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance edition comes with the Boost Mode. Total power is 430 hp, torque stays at the same level, and the range is shortened to 230 miles. It is still more than some current EVs can do.
The company is also working on numerous upgrades. The focus is currently on the recharging system. With the proper equipment, the battery can be restored from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. Full charging takes more time, but Hyundai promised to drop it under 1 hour. Also, a version with 310 miles of range is expected to have a premiere.
Pricing
The base price of the 2023 Genesis GV60 will be around $60,000. We have mixed feelings about this cost. Ford Mustang Mach-E can save $15,000, but it is not a luxury vehicle. For this amount of money, you can buy an EV from a proven carmaker, Tesla. Model Y is a bit more expensive. If you are fan of conventional drivetrains, then there are plenty of options available, including luxury seven-seater SUVs. But, electric vehicles are the future of the industry. Their production is still expensive, but the price is dropping in recent years. Plus, have in mind that you will be eligible for the tax refund in the US.
Features and Accessories
The 2023 Genesis GV60 is the next step in the evolution of Hyundai vehicles. The company is installing its best features in the electric SUV. Design is unique and bold. The coupe crossover looks pretty attractive and we can imagine it as a competitor.
The front fascia features double lines of lights. We already saw it on other Genesis vehicles, and we also saw a line of LED lamps on the latest editions by Hyundai. The crest grille takes a lower position compared to the rest of the lineup. In the rear end, the GV60 features a spoiler. It boosts the aggressive look.
The Crystal Sphere is the most intriguing part of the interior. When it’s off, the crystal sphere is a mysterious detail. While the vehicle is started, the sphere rotates and shows its function – Shift By Wire becomes available. The central console is designed in floating language. It also comes with the next-gen infotainment, the most advanced system you will find in any Hyundai or Genesis vehicle. The interior is built from recycled materials, which makes the GV60 an eco-friendly crossover.
For now, only two packages are available – Standard and Performance. The company unveiled eight colors for the 2023 Genesis GV60. These are Carbon Metal, Uyuni White, Matterhorn White, Melbourne Grey, Savile Silver, Vik Black, Hanauma Mint and Capri Blue. The interior uses a plain paintjob, or a contrasting colors layout.
