The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq is going to get a battery mounted to the rear axle. The electric motor will be good for 340 hp and 300 miles of range. It seems a lot and experts didn’t expect to see the SUV with so many miles. Well, the company could add another option as the entry-level version. On the other hand, we assume that a more powerful battery pack could be added as well, with an extended range. The rear-wheel drive is standard and the AWD will probably be optional.
Engineers are still working on the recharging system. The fastest way to restore the battery is with speed chargers that can charge nearly 200 miles in 30 minutes. 10 minutes on such outlets can give you 75 miles of drive. Standard home outlets are the slowest way to recharge the car battery.

General Motors is going to start producing Hummer trucks first, and the next electric vehicle to be built is the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq. One of the best things about the SUV is its price. Bosses promised that the base version is going to cost $60,000, which is not bad having in mind this is a premium vehicle with advanced technology. General Motors will probably produce a cheaper version with the GMC or Chevy badge. Still, high-end models of the Lyriq will end up a lot higher.
