The RST is more focused on the exterior. Already bold styling is getting aesthetic grille, blacked-out trims, and chrome details. The 2022 Chevy Suburban Z71 is going to make you an adventurer. The package is using 4×4 and adds off-road parts to make your ride going on smoothly even in the toughest weather and terrain conditions. Skidplates and tow hooks are added. The highlight of the exterior styling is a set of 20-inch wheels. The most luxurious offer comes with the 2022 Chevrolet Suburban High Country. The company is not saving on this one. A 6.2 engine is standard. More safety features are added, including parking sensors, HUD, and cameras. The 2022 update might bring the Super Cruise self-driving system as well. Engines and Performance
The base offer includes a 5.3-liter V8 engine tuned to create 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. The eight-cylinder unit is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Power goes to the rear wheels. The new 2022 Chevy Suburban features an independent rear suspension. It will make the SUV tougher, no matter which powerplant you pick. For a long time, GM used a solid axle, which many experts considered as one of the biggest downsides of its large SUVs.

On the Silverado 1500, this configuration helps the truck tow more than 9,500 pounds. It is far away from class leaders, but still better than the existing Suburban, or any other SUV can do. The oil-burner is also a fuel-saving option, with a mileage of 21/27 mpg, while the petrol units return 16/20 (5.3) and 15/20 (6.2).
2022 Chevy Suburban Prices
Since there are no big changes, and in 2022, General Motors is focused on electric vehicles, the Suburban is not going to rush with a debut. We could see the model for the next season late in 2021.
The price of the 2022 Chevy Suburban starts at $52,000. The mid-range models are recommended by experts. But, you will have to spend up to $60,000 for the LT or RST. If you are after the 4×4 specialist, the Z71 will be around $62,000 before you add packages. The High Country can be considered as the premium vehicle with the price starting over $72,000. If you add about $5,000, you can have the base version of the Cadillac Escalade, a luxury full-size SUV by the same company, which uses similar equipment, and a 6.2-liter V8 as the standard powerplant.
